The Catherine Ludgate Vendor of the Year Award is an honour for one vendor each year who has made an outstanding contribution to the Megaphone community. This vendor demonstrates a positive attitude, commitment to Megaphone and to positive social change.
Catherine Ludgate was an anti-poverty and social justice advocate, known for her commitment to lifting barriers faced by people who are marginalized by poverty and social disparity. Catherine was also a longtime supporter and champion of Megaphone’s vendor program, and we are able to do what we do today because of her support.
